Video
Your best moments are buried in hours of VOD. Load one of your streams, mark the moments on a zoomable timeline, and get each segment as its own MP4. Everything runs locally in the GrumpTools desktop app: the clips are fetched and cut on your machine, and only the parts you marked, never the whole VOD.
Runs on your machine
Fetching and cutting happen locally in the desktop app: full speed, full privacy, and hours of footage never routed through anyone's servers.
Twitch and Kick support
Paste a Twitch VOD link or ID, a Kick video link, or search a Twitch channel and browse its recent VODs.
Up to 8 segments per VOD
Mark every highlight in one pass; each segment becomes its own labeled MP4.
Zoomable timeline
Zoom the timeline up to 32x for frame-tight in and out points on hours-long VODs, with quick skip buttons.
Only what you marked
Only the marked time ranges are fetched, so an 8-hour stream never has to be pulled in full just to cut two minutes out of it.
Source quality output
Clips are saved as MP4 at the VOD's source quality. Short clips are cut frame-accurate; long ones use fast keyframe-aligned copying.

▸What am I allowed to clip?
Your own Twitch and Kick broadcasts, and any other content you have permission to use. VOD Clipper is a creator tool for turning your streams into clips: you are responsible for holding the rights to whatever you clip and for following each platform's terms of service.
▸Which platforms are supported?
Twitch VODs (by link, ID, or channel browse) and Kick VODs (by link).
▸Can I clip multiple moments from one VOD?
Yes, up to 8 segments per VOD in one pass. Each gets its own label and its own MP4 file.
▸Why is VOD Clipper desktop-only?
Because the work happens on your machine. Clipping VODs means pulling large video streams, and doing that locally keeps it fast and private instead of routing hours of footage through a server. The web app can't do that, so the clipper lives in the desktop app.
▸Are the cuts frame-accurate?
Clips up to 10 minutes are re-encoded frame-accurate. Longer clips use fast stream copying aligned to keyframes, which can start up to about 2 seconds early but never mid-frame.
▸Do I need an account?
Yes, a free GrumpTools account. Clipping itself is free with no daily cap.
Free and unlimited.
